Clock - 010416And just like that another year has slipped into the annals of history. CrossRiver celebrated its fifth anniversary in 2015 and it was by far the best one yet. We saw God bring us exciting new projects and new faces and take CrossRiver books into places we never dreamed. He has blessed us beyond our imagination during the last 365 days and He isn’t done yet.

CrossRiver news for 2016

    1. We have more books in our publishing queue than at any point in our five year history – more Bible studies and devotionals, contemporary fiction titles as well as historical fiction, some with a new twist that we think you will enjoy. No less than nine books sit on our publishing calendar for 2016… with more in production for 2017. Stay tuned for the first release in March.
    2. In 2015, we began work on our first audio book, which is scheduled for release in early 2016. Generations will be our first manuscript to be turned into an audio file, and we are excited to see how God uses this new (to us) medium to reach a new audience.
    3. Twenty-sixteen also marks our first steps back into the genre that first captured our hearts – children’s literature. While our plans right now are limited, in March, three years after our last children’s book, we will release The Secret of Serendipity, a children’s book by cherished author, Kathy Nickerson.
    4. Our newest nonfiction, Unbeaten is a Bible study by Lindsey Bell… and it will include another first for us – video. When we started CrossRiver Media Group, we named it with the intention that print media would not be the only medium we used. Now our Bible study participants will have access to weekly videos to help them engage in the study – at no extra cost to them. We are VERY excited about this new opportunity to connect with Bible study groups across the country.

It’s a big agenda for this small publisher, but we are confident that God is working out the details. Still, we can use your help. Help us spread the word. Let others know about CrossRiver and the quality books we produce. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest… and even Instagram share our posts, tweets and photos and join our mailing list (the box is in the upper right-hand corner of this page). When you do, we’ll send you exclusive offers and behind the scenes info on our latest releases. Most importantly, ask your local bookstores to carry CrossRiver books. Your requests carry a lot of weight. And who knows, someone’s life may be impacted for eternity because of YOUR request.

In the meantime, we will continue to ask God to use our materials for His glory… and to bless you as you read them.

Happy New Year!
